Srinagar: The J&K government on Thursday assigned the additional charge of secretary JK Board of School Education (BOSE) to director school education Kashmir (DSEK) G N Itoo.
The order in this regard was issued by secretary school education Kashmir Farooq Ahmad Shah. “In exercise of the powers conferred by section (14) of’ the J&K BOSE Act, 1975 and in supersession of notification SRO-329 of 2017 or any other notification issued on the subject, the government hereby assigns the additional charge of secretary JKBOSE to the director school education Kashmir with immediate effect till such time government appoints a new secretary,” reads the government order. The post of secretary was till date managed by chairperson JKBOSE Veena Pandita.
