Kulgam: Suspected militants lobbed a grenade on an Army camp in South Kashmir’s Pulwama district.
Reports said that grenade was lobbed on 34 Rashtriya Rifles of Indian Army Camp located at Nihama village.
Reports said that the grenade exploded with a bang. Search operation was launched to nab the attackers. A police official said that a sniffer dog was killed in the attack while two soldiers sustained minor injuries.
Locals alleged that soldiers thrashed passerby and shopkeepers after the blast. “The army soldiers went berserk after the blast and targeted everyone who came into their way. They ransacked shops and damaged merchandize. The soldiers broke glasses of dozens of vehicles,” said an eyewitness adding that people fled from the village to save themselves from the wrath of ‘unbridled’ soldiers.
