New Delhi: India Thursday slammed the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) for raking up the Kashmir issue at its recent meeting in Dhaka, saying the bloc has no locus standi in the country’s internal matters.
In a strongly worded statement, the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) said Jammu and Kashmir is an integral part of India and asked the OIC to refrain from making such references.
“We observe with utmost regret as well as categorically reject the resolutions adopted by Organisation of Islamic Conference on Jammu and Kashmir at the 45th CFM (Council of Foreign Ministers) session of OIC in Dhaka held on May 5 to 6,” it said.
