Srinagar: Police on Wednesday said that an unidentified male body was fished out from a canal of upper Sindh hydel power project by it in Fraw village in Gund area of central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district
A police official said locals spotted the body floating in the canal and informed the police about it.
He said a police party from Gund police station rushed to the spot and fished out the body from the canal.
He said the identity of the body is being ascertained, and a case under section 174 CrPc has been registered.
