Srinagar/May, 15:National Conference Woking President and former Chief Minister Omar Abdullah on Tuesday quoted a term from William Shakespeare’s play “Et tu” and in his response to the results of Karnataka polls, in which BJP emerged as the single largest party.
Abdullah took to micro blogging website Twitter to react over the results of Karnataka assembly election results ansaidd. “Et tu #Karnataka,” and said in his tweet
The words ‘Et tu’ meaning ‘even you’ are generally used to describe surprise or dismay. ‘Et tu (Brute)’ line was spoken by Julius Caesar in a William Shakespeare play at the time of assassination of his friend Junius Brutus.
