Srinagar: The state Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) General Secretary (Organization) Ashok Kaul on Sunday said that the party high command will take a final call on the recent remarks made by Speaker Legislative Assembly, Dr Nirmal Singh against Army over the construction of a house in the vicinity of an ammunition depot at Nagrota Jammu.
Talking to Kashmir News Service (KNS) over phone, Kaul said, “The State BJP has already discussed the issue with the concern quarters and a report of this has been already sent to the party high command. The BJP spokesman will clear the air over the issue in a day or two.”
It is in place to mention here that Dr Nirmal Singh is engaged in a legal row with Army over the construction of his house in the vicinity of an ammunition depot at Nagrota Jammu.
While the Army has filed a suit in the Jammu and Kashmir High Court against Nirmal Singh over the construction of his house in the vicinity of an ammunition depot at Nagrota Jammu, the Speaker Assembly Nirmal Singh on his part has accused Army of harassing people and not even letting them “Construct even a toilet” without its permission.
