Srinagar: A youth was in the night intervening Thursday and Friday killed in exchange of fire on the Line of Control (LoC) in Gulpur area of Poonch district of Jammu and Kashmir shortly after midnight.
Additional SP Poonch Anwar-ul-Haq said Pakistan Army resorted to indiscriminate fire around 12:30 am on the Indian army posts in Baghal Dhara. He said he Indian army retaliated effectively.
A youth identified as Mohammad Ikhlaq (22) son of Mohammad Sadiq resident of Kalsan Malti Baghal Dhara received serious injuries and died on the spot, he said.
