Jammu: Two persons died and twenty-five others were injured in an accident in Lam Bhatta village of Nowshera in Rajouri district of Jammu and Kashmir on Monday.
As per initial reports, a mini bus turned turtle on the road, leaving two passengers dead and 25 others injured.
One among the injured has been referred to GMC&H Jammu in serious condition while others are being treated at Nowshera hospital.
Deputy Commissioner Rajouri Dr Shahid Iqbal Choudhary confirmed the death of two persons.
Meanwhile Minister for School Education, Haj andAuqaf and Tribal Affair Chowdhary Zulfkar Ali has expressed grief over the loss of lives in a road accident here at Rajpur Bhatta in Nowshera sub-division.
In the accident, two people had on spot death. The passengers with severe injuries were rushed to Jammu, while as the rest have been shifted to sub-district hospital in Nowshera
In his condolence message, the Minister conveyed his sympathies to the bereaved families and prayed for peace to the departed souls. He has wished speedy recovery to the persons injured in this accident
