Srinagar: The students at Kashmir University staged a massive protest after a contractual assistant professor appointed in sociology department of went missing.
As per protesting students Bhat is untraceable since Friday and his phone is switched off. Bhat who hails from Central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district went missing after he offered Friday congregational prayers.
The protesting students while seeking police intervention assembled outside Vice Chancellor office who assured them that he is in touch with administration and efforts are on to trace the missing Assistant Professor.
“The offices of the Hon’ble Chancellor as well as the Hon’ble Pro-Chancellor have also been apprised about the matter,” he informed the protesting students.
