Srinagar/May, 2 : Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti Wednesday said that the persons responsible for throwing stones on a school bus in Shopian will be brought to justice.
Taking to micro blogging social networking website twitter Mehbooba said “Shocked & angered to hear of the attack on a school bus in Shopian. The perpetrators of this senseless & cowardly act will be brought to justice. ”
Two minor students were injured after their school bus was pelted with stones in Zavoora area of south Kashmir’s Shopian district on Wednesday, reports quoting police said.
Miscreants pelted the school bus with stones near Zavoora village, Global News Service quoted SSP Shopian Shalendra Kumar Mishra as having said.
The injured students were shifted to a nearby hospital for treatment where from one of the injured was referred to Srinagar for specialized care.
“We have taken cognisance of the incident and have registered a case and further investigation has been taken up,” he said, according to the report.
