Srinagar: Unknown gunmen on Monday night shot dead three persons in Khanpora area of north Kashmir’s Baramulla district.
Reports said the gunmen fired upon the three persons near Iqbal Market, resulting in their instant death. On Twitter, the police said that three civilians were killed by militants in old town Baramulla.
The dead were identified as Asif Ahmed Sheikh, Haseeb Ahmed Khan and Mohammed Asghar, all residents of Kakar Hamam in Baramulla’s old town area. A police official said that Lashkar-e-Toiba militants are involved in the killings
