Srinagar/April, 27 :Shutdown is being observed in Shopian district of south Kashmir on Friday to mourn the killing of a local youth in a shoot out on Thursday this week.
All shops and other business establishments are closed in the Shopian town and other areas, reports said.
A student identified as Shakeeb Shabir was killed after militants fired at security forces at Lazibal crossing at about 2:20 pm yesterday, but the fire missed the target and hit him, police said.
