Srinagar, April 20: After receiving a complaint from the parents of a minor girl (name withheld) that their minor daughter was kidnapped, Police station Nowgam acted swiftly and a team led by SHO Police Station Nowgam under the supervision of SDPO Pantha Chowk started investigation.
After strenuous efforts by the police, the said minor girl was recovered from the possession of the kidnapper & was handed over to her parents.
In this regard case FIR No. 34/2018 under section 363, 109 RPC stands registered in Police Station Nowgam. The accused kidnapper Bashir Ahmad Para was arrested and further investigation is in progress.
