Bandipora: The Department of Agriculture Thursday organized an awareness camp at Sumbal in which scores of farmers, including women entrepreneurs, participated.
Sub Divisional Magistrate Sumbal Syeed Naseer Ahmad was the chief guest on the occasion.
The camp was aimed at to encourage women folk towards the entrepreneurship for which the department is playing a vital role in providing technical know-how and financial assistance.
Later, the SDM distributed an incentive of Rs 50000 among 5 women self-help groups (SHGs) of the subdivision.
