Jammu: Mission Director, J&K SRLM, Javaid Humayun Bakshi, Wednesday interacted with more than 80 Project Resource Persons (PRPs) of Jammu Division who are undergoing residential training under Gram Swaraj Abiyaan for implementation of the scheme in 124 identified villages of the state.
The training is being organized in collaboration with National Institute of Rural Development (NIRD) at Jammu from 14th April – 5th May 2018
While interacting with PRPs, the Mission Director oriented them regarding the saturation of programmes including Pradhan Mantri Jeevan Joyti Yojana, Pradhan Mantri Jeevan Sureksha Yojana and Jan Dhan Yojana to be carried out by J&K SRLM (Umeed) across identified 124 villages by Ministry of Rural Development.
As a part of Gram Swaraj Abhiyan, 124 villages are expected to achieve saturation in the next one month. These villages have been identified on the basis of high poverty ratio.
