Jammu/April,15:Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Saturday accused opposition National Conference Provincial President and MLA Nagrota Devender Singh Rana of changing “existing narrative by portraying Jammu as communal”.
In a statement issued here, BJP spokesperson said Rana is responsible for portraying Jammu’s situation as “communal” and belongs to a party of “chameleons”.
“He is speaking at the behest of his masters to change the entire existing narrative by portraying Jammu as communal…He belongs to a party of chameleons, whose leaders change colours with every changing season in Kashmir, sometimes more than once during the same season”.
The spokesperson also said: “…Thus, by issuing such statements, Rana is only further exposing the hollowness of his party…”Rana had on Saturday hit out at Pradesh Congress leaders for “hobnobbing with Bharatiya Janata Party to disintegrate and trifurcate Jammu and Kashmir.”
“A section of the Congress leaders has been working as B-Team of the BJP and furthering its agenda of division, hate and polarization”, Rana said after paying homage to Baba Saheb Bhim Rao Ambedkar on his birth anniversary at a function held at Sher-e-Kashmir Bhavan in Jammu yesterday.
Rana said: “It is a vicious circle of the BJP, the PDP and a section in the Congress which is responsible for the prevailing sordid state of affairs.”
