Srinagar/April,15: A spontaneous shutdown after the succumbing of an injured youth at SKIMS Soura Sunday morning hit the normal life in Kangan area of central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district.
Aamir Lone who hails from Chattergul Kangan village was injured on April 3 in clashes with government forces following the killing of a youth in police action.
A pall of gloom descended on Lone’s village soon after his body reached his native place. Shoppers downed their shutters, while transport came to a halt.
People in hordes were present at Lone’s native place who raised pro freedom slogans.
Meanwhile, authorities apprehending protests have made huge deployment of government forces in the area.
