Srinagar: To do something different from regular food services a young advocate of Mustafabad locality in the outskirt of Srinagar Iqra uses social networking sites for promotion and takes online orders to her customer’s as per their demands.
Armed with social networking skills a _ 26 year old advocate hailing from HMT Mustafabad Srinagar started her food venture.
Iqra being an advocate started her own food chain which includes veg ,non -veg, continental,mughlai ,kashmiri cuisines,cakes, cookies, desserts,etc .. Iqra is a practicing lawyer holding honor’s in law from kashmir University .she has been a student of minto circle school..the idea behind her own chain of food Mania is after witnessing the rise of food adulteration.
Her idea behind the initiative of food venture is to provide pure food to the entire valley of Kashmir. To deliver food in an organic form which is purely home based.
The growth of diseases due to impure food , artificial colours and preservatives triggered her to start her food chain..food mania
During the establishment of food mania ,Iqra found it difficult to manage both the profession and passion but the overwhelming response that she received kept her going ..she has done a course of baking ( fondant and icing ) from ihm rajbagh.
In Jan 2018 she single handedly organised 15 days crash course for people who were inspired by her work.

Social media has helped her a lot to bring her food chain to the customers rather than offline store. She prepares dishes for all occasions her motive is to deliver purity based food to the people ..she believes if they are paying for something they should pay for right quality.
