Jammu/April,13: Ministet forvAnimal and Sheep Hysbandry in the incumbent Mehbooba government Ab Gani Kohli owing alleguance to Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Friday escaped unhurt in a car accident on Jammu-Rajouri highway.
Reports said that the cavalcade of Abdul Gani Kohli was heading towards Kalakote – his constituency – when a taxi coming from opposite direction hit his official vehicle at Akhnoor.
An official said that the minister’s driver lost control over the vehicle and crashed it with a concrete structure on the roadside.
“The car suffered minor damage but the minister escaped unhurt,” he said.
Kohli, who is minister for Sheep, Animal Husbandry and Fisheries departments, was on his way to Hari Chuma area of Kalakote for a public meeting when the mishap took place.
