Anantnag/April,11: Nineteen persons travelling in a passenger bus were Wednesday evening injured when the bus they were travelling in was hit by a truck in Bijbehara area in Anantnag district on Wednesday, police said.
A spokesman said that a truck (registration No. JK02S 0387) coming from Jammu collided head-on with a Mazda (registration No. JK01AB 6451) coming from Srinagar, near PHE division Bijbehara.
“The head on collision resulted into injuries to 19 persons and six of them have been shifted to Srinagar for treatment and rest are being treated at SDH Bijbehara,” he said.
A case has been registered and investigation taken up, he added.
