Pulwama/April,8: A complete shutdown is being observed in Pulwama town on Sunday to mourn the killing of a a local militant.
A local militant Mussavir Hasaan Wani who belinged to Hizb Ul Mujahideen militant iytfit was Friday evening killed in a brief gunbattle with government forces in Kangan village of Pulwama district.
All the shops and business establishments are closed while public transport is off the roads.
The government offices are closed due to weekly Sunday-off.
Skeletal movement of private vehicles was witnessed in the area.
