Srinagar: Taking a jibe at both State and Centre Government over the extremely volatile situation in valley, the J&K Pradesh Congress Committee (JKPCC) President G.A. Mir Tuesday questioned as to how long bloodshed in valley will continue.
He also asked Centre to change It’s Kashmir Policy and move ahead with full sincerity to restore calm in the trouble torn valley.
In a statement issued G.A. Mir described the silence on the Kashmir Situation being maintained by Centre as Criminal, saying that Centre lacks any policy regarding Kashmir situation, rather the wrong policies adopted by it (Centre) was the cause behind deteriorating situation.
G.A. Mir urged that Centre must stop misleading the Nation on Kashmir Situation, which is extremely volatile. The hostile approach of Centre has badly damaged the socio-political scenario in the state as result the space for mainstream politics has diminished considerably, which is matter of serious concern, he added and said PDP BJP ruling dispensation who were never been on the same page on certain sensitive issues are fully responsible for the prevailing situation in the valley.
G.A. Mir expressed profound grief and sorrow over the deteriorating situation urging upon the Centre to change it’s Kashmir Policy, as that confrontation or tough stand adopted may vitiate the atmosphere further, which will not be in the interest of peace, he said.
G.A. Mir also called for peace, urging upon the youth to stop confronting Security Forces, as that the disturbances will not serve any purpose, rather it will have serious implications on the future of common people especially youth.
