Srinagar/ April, 3: One civilan was abducted by suspected militants and three others were injured in an attack at the house of the civilian in Hajin area of North Kashmir’s Bandipora district late Monday evening , Police said
In a statement Police said “4 militants who are believed to be affiliated with the militant organisation LeT, barged into the house of Farooq Ah Parrey R/O Par Mohalla Hajin at about 10.10 P.M Monday evening and fired indiscriminately inside the house.The militants used the knives that they were carrying and caused injuries to wife, daughter and brother of Farooq ; namely Rafeeqa, Neelofar and Hilal Ah Parrey. The militants also abducted Muntazir Ah Parrey (the son in law of House owner) from there”.
Pilice further said efforts are on by the police to trace out the abducted person and thosr injured in the incident have been shifted to Srinagar. Rafeeqa, Police said, has one firearm injury besides other serious injuries caused by a sharp weapon. Others have injuries due to an assault using a sharp weapon.
‘An FIR into the incident has been registered and investigation into the matter set into motion’ Said police.
