Total no of militants killed in Kachdoora gunfight is 5: Police

Srinagar/April,2: Police in a statement issued here on Monday said that the total number of terrorists killed in Kachdoora encounter has been found to be five .

In its statement Police also said that the slain   militants have been identified as Ishfaq Thokar resident of Paddarpora Shopian, Aitmad Hussain Dar resident of Amshipora, Shopian Aqib Bashir resident of DH Pora Kulgam ,Sameer Lone of Hillow Shopian And Gayas ul Islam Thoker of Paderpora.
It is pertinent to mention here that the body of Sameer was taken out by the locals out of the debris and handed over to his family which was subsequently buried .
Police said all of them are understood to be part of  Hizb Ul Mujahideen , and had joined the organisation in last one year. Polic further said that Ishfaq Thoker was a key element of Hizb Ul Mujahideen  involved in l attacks on government forces  and was a category A+ militant  while the other three were category C militant
