Ang: A cop was injured after militants attacked a police party in Khanabal area of South Kashmir’s Anantnag district.
Reports said that a group of militants opened fire on a police party resulting in the injuries of a Constable.
The militants reportedly managed to flee from spot after carrying out the attack, though area was cordoned off and a search operation was launched.
The injured constable has been shifted to 92 Base Army Hospital Srinagar.
A police official identified the wounded cop as Constable Trilok Singh of Tral Pulwama.
