Clashes in Kreeri, shutdown in Wagoora on”CHAHRAM” of Slain LeT militant

Baramull: Clashes broke out between government forces and youth in Kreeri area of North Kashmir on wensday amid complete shutdown in the adjuscent areas including the Wagoora the native place of the slain LeT man Shafat Hussain wani.
Keeping in mind the Chahrm of the slain LeT man authorities had deployed the forces in strength at the entry points of the slain militants native place. Youth at around 10 am in the morning at kreeri started pelting stones on the government forces, the forces responded with the tear gas shells to disperse the protesting youth the eye witness said.
Shafat Hussain wani was killed in Ahirbal area of Budgam district three days back, according to sources had joined the militant ranks last year. The clashes were going on in the kreeri area as this report is being filed.
