Srinagar: National Conference Working President and former chief minister Omar Abdullah on Tuesday chided the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) President Amit Shah over his recent gaffe on party’s Karnataka president B S Yeddyurappa saying “if there was ever a competition of the most corrupt government then the Yeddyurappa government is number one…”.
Omar while coming in support of his former coalition partner Congress president in a mocking way wrote on Twitter: “If Rahul had done the same thing the social media sky would have been brought down crashing on his head”.
Yesterday, while leveling allegations against the Siddaramaiah government, Shah inadvertently said: “Recently a retired Supreme Court judge said if there was ever a competition of the most corrupt government then the Yeddyurappa government is number one…” shocking Yeddyurappa and the BJP leadership.
