Srinagar: United Jihad Council (UJC) on Saturday paid tributes to the slain militants who were killed in two separate encounters that raged between forces and militants in Halmatpora area of Kupwara and Shastragam Dooru village in Anantnag district.
In an e-mailed statement issued to local news gathering agency KNS, the UJC spokesman, Syed Sadaqat Hussain said that “the militants by sacrificing their lives proved that the sacrifices of people won’t go waste. The blood of militants will bear fruit.”
He also prayed for the courage to the bereaved families of slain militants.
“The dream of Indian leadership and their supporters to put an end to the freedom struggle won’t succeed. The tactics being used to divide the Kashmiris won’t succeed at all,” the UJC spokesman said.
Meanwhile, the UJC spokesman expressed grief over the demise of Hurriyat leader, Dr Ghulam Nabi Fai’s elder brother Moulana Muhammad Amin.
He also prayed for the courage to the bereaved family.
