Jammu: Senior JCC leader, President EJAC, Chairman JKTF Ab Qayoom Wani took a serious note of ignoring RRETs, RET’s, SSA teachers in time bound promotion which is totally step motherly treatment with them.
Wani said that these teachers have put their sweat and blood for serving the Education Department and upliftment of Education standard in J&K state in difficult times and that too without salaries for months together.
In a statement issued here Saturday, Wani said that after regularization of these teachers there is no justification of double standard and they are equally entitled for the benefits as the other categories do avail.
He said that after regularisation RET’s and RRETs have equal rights with the other categories as per the SRO. He said that Teachers Forum has always raised the issues of entire teaching fraternity especially the issues of RRETs and RET’s, SSA teachers, regulation of their salaries, delinking of their salaries with State sector, implementation of their transfer policy, Pay anomaly of Masters and minimum wages act in favour of Contingent paid employees.
EJAC President said that Education Minister has agreed in principle to provide salary of SSA teachers, RET’s from state sector and implementation of transfer policy on them besides redressal of pay anomalies of Masters and other categories but ignoring RET’s, RRETs and SSA teachers from the benefits of time bound promotions which is their legitimate right have caused cious and confusion among the community.
He said that teaching fraternity does not want to come on roads, they are committed to their duties but the delay in providing justice to the builders of nation will compel teachers Forum to chalk out a state wide long term strategy for redressal of grievances of RET’s in particular and teaching fraternity in general. Wani appealed Minister for Education Syed Mohd Altaf Bukhari who has always showed teacher friendly approach with positive mind set, for his personal intervention in resolving these issues which have become cause of concern for teaching fraternity.
JCC leader said that by resolving the issues of teaching fraternity will definitely yield positive results on the academic side of Education Department. He also urged upon worthy Secretary Education Farooq Ahmad Shah for his immediate intervention in speedy disposal of the Time bound cases of RRETs, RET’s, SSA teachers and other issues.
