Jammu: Governor N. N. Vohra, Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti and Deputy Chief Minister Nirmal Singh have in their separate statements felicitated people on Ramanavami and prayed that this auspicious occasion would be the harbinger of peace, progress and prosperity in the State.
In his message of felicitations, Governor N N Vohra observed that the celebration of festivals, which are an important part of our glorious heritage, strengthens communal harmony and brotherhood and reinvigorates the secular ethos.Governor prayed for peace and the well-being of the people of the State.
In her greeting message Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti said Jammu & Kashmir takes pride in its multi religious and multicultural ethos which has given it a special place in the country.
