Srinagar: A traffic police man was killed in a road accident at Kanispora in north Kashmir’s Baramulla district on Thursday.
Reports said that a speeding taxi hit a cop manning a post near JET college in Kanispora, injuring him critically.
The deceased, identified as Muhammad Dilawar, was shifted to Baramulla District Hospital where he succumbed.
A case has been registered, said a police official, adding that the taxi driver has been arrested and his vehicle seized.
