Srinagar: A soldier posted in South committed suicide after shooting self with his service rifle.
The slain constable was part of Road Opening Party at Vesu Qazigund on highway.
A Police official said Constable Kulwinder Singh of 10 Sikh Camp was present near an under construction hotel when he shot himself dead.
“A case has been registered and investigation taken up,” he added.
