Srinagar: A shutdown was observed for the third consecutive day in Soura and its adjacent areas in outskirts of Srinagar district against the killing of a local militant Eisa Fazilli.
Reports said shops and business establishments remained shut in native place of Faziili at Ahmadnagar Soura including Buchpora, Umerhaer, Pandach, Illahibagh, 90 Feet Soura and Nagbal areas.
Skeletal traffic movement was witnessed in these areas, reports said.
Meanwhile, after two days of shutdown markets opened in adjoining Ganderbal district.
Fazilli along with two other militants was killed by government forces in south Kashmir’s Hakoora village in Anantnag district on Monday.
