Jammu: A deputation of Shri Jathdari Sewa Mandal Phagwara, Punjab, called on Deputy Chief Minister, Dr Nirmal Singh here Wednesday.
The deputation highlighted several issues related to the smooth pilgrimage of Amarnath and facilities for the pilgrims like freelangar permissions, upgraded necessary public facilities, utilities enroute the pilgrimage track and around the Holy Cave of Amarnath.
Dr Singh assured them that all the highlighted issues would be looked into and redressed appropriately. He said it is utmost endeavour of the State Government to ensure safety and all necessary facilities to the pilgrims during the entire period of yatra every year.
