Ang: The Additional District Development Commissioner Anantnag, Reyaz Ahmad Sofi Monday flagged-off a group of 25 farmers on a seven-day exposure tour to Himachal Pradesh under centrally-sponsored Agriculture Technology Management Agency (ATMA) scheme.
During the tour, organized by Department of Horticulture Anantnag, the farmers will interact with their counterparts of Himachal Pradesh to gain exposure about how farming is being done there. They will be exposed to varied types of horticulture farming being done in Himachal Pradesh by experts.
On the occasion, ADDC said aim of organizing such exposure tours for the farmers is to aware them about the latest and scientific techniques of farming. He added that such tours will be organized in future too.
