Spontaneous shutdown in Lal Chowk against militant killings

Srinagar/March,12: A spontaneous shutdown is being observed Lal Chowk the commercial hub of summer capital Srinagar against the killing of three militants in Hakoora area of Anantnag district in South Kashmir Monday morning.

As soon as the news of the Eesa Fazili, a resident of Soura area of Srinagar, along with his two associates reached here, all the shops and business established were closed within no time, reports said.They said that police and paramilitary Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) personnel have been deployed in strength in sensitive areas of the summer capital to thwart any protests.Meanwhile, people in large numbers are marching towards the house of Fazili in Soura to take part in his last rites.
