Jammu: On the eve of International Women’s Day, national level coach and cricketer, Roopali Slathia Thursday presented a copy of her book on cricketing to Chief Minister, Mehbooba Mufti here Thursday.
First woman cricket coach of Jammu and Kashmir to successfully complete Level-B course, Roopali is also currently working on her doctoral research on women cricketing in the State. She has also previously held Indian women coaching camp at National Cricket Academy (NCA).
The Chief Minister complimented the young cricket star from the State and wished her success in the days ahead to emerge as a role model for the younger generations.
