VC JKPCC inspects progress of work on Engineering College Ganderbal

G’bal: Vice-Chairman Jammu & Kashmir Projects Construction Corporation (JKPCC), Sheikh Khalid Jehangir inspected pace of ongoing work on Government Engineering College in Ganderbal.
The Vice Chairman interacted with officers and workers of JKPCC who briefed him about progress and other related issues regarding the ongoing project of engineering college.
DGM JKPCC Ganderbal Bashir Ahmad War and other senior officers of the Corporation accompanied the Vice Chairman.
Deputation of contractors meets CM, puts up demands
Srinagar: A deputation of local contractors Tuesday met the Chief Minister, Mehbooba Mufti here Tuesday and brought many of their issues into her notice.
The contractors demanded release of their pending payments under NABARD and NRDWP projects.
They appreciated the Government for introduction of PAO system in the State to root out red tapism and chances of corruption while suggesting that this system be put to implementation after clearing the backlog of payments.
The Chief Minister assured the deputation to look into their demands and take appropriate action on the same.
