Srinagar: While paying rich tribute to Jaish militant Mufti Waqas, conglomerate of local militant outfits United Jihad Council has expressed concern over the deteriorating health of prisoners in jails.
In a statement to local news gathering agency CNS, Syed Salahuddin the UJC Chief said that shifting of prisoners including Dr Qasim Faktoo to outside jails have put them at risk.
“Horrible torture stories of Kashmiri prisoners languishing in Indian jails are emerging. World Human Rights organizations have miserably failed to put pressure on India,” he said.
Salahuddin appealed to international human rights organizations including ‘Amnesty International’ and ‘Human Rights Watch’ to take cognizance of rights violations in Kashmir.
While appealing people to follow the program of Joint Resistance Leadership, Salahuddin asked those who aid and support India in Kashmir for how long they will become a party to innocent killings in Valley.
