Unpardonable offence of BJP ministers

Busy in painting a communal colour to the Crime Branch investigation into rape-n-murder of Kathua minor girl the BJP ministers Lal Singh and Chander Prakash Ganga virtually committed an unpardonable offence by attending a rally called by “Hindu Ekta Manch” in support of accused arrested by the police. The BJP which delivers sermons on “Beti Bachao, Beti Padao” should have in fact issued show causes notices against the ministers for attending a rally called for opposing the detention of those facing allegations of raping and murdering an eight year old muslim Bakerwal girl in Rasana village of the Heerangar area of the Kathua district but none else than Deputy Chief Minister Nirmal Singh has shamelessly said that the ministers had gone to Rasana village to diffuse the tension in the area. Deputy Chief Minister Nirmal Singh who says ministers Lal Singh and Chander Prakash Ganga had gone to Rasana Village to diffuse the tension in the area but a conter question for Deputy Chief Minister is that had the ministers informed him or the chief minister about their plans to attend a rally called by “Hindu Ekta Manch” in support of the detainees facing allegations of raping and murdering an eight year old girl. After all the ministers are answerable to Chief Minister for all the actions which go against the policy decisions of the government. Even naives can understand that unfortunately Deputy Chief Minister Nirmal Singh is trying to defend and as well as shield the minister for attending the rally called for support to detainees facing allegations of raping and murdering the Kathua minor girl. Had BJP’s top central leadership been serious about the Prime Minister’s slogan “Beti Bachao, Beti Padao”, the Deputy Chief Minister won’t have been mandated to defend at a press conference the attendance of two state ministers Lal Singh and Chander Prakash Ganga at the rally called by “Hindu Ekta Manch” for support to the detainees facing allegations of rape and murder of an eight year old minor girl.
Unfortunately the BJP’s central top brass has allowed its State Secretary Rajeev Sharma to head “Hindu Ekta Manch” launched to campaign for the support to detainees facing allegations of raping and murdering an eight year old girl . Keeping in view the BJP central leadership’s tendencies to defend the association of its sitting MLAs and ministers with the campaign of “ Hindu Ekta Manch” for supporting the detainees facing allegations of raping and murdering an eight year old muslim bakerwal girl the sermons of top BJP leaders including Prime Minister Narendra Modi on “Beti Padao, Beti Padao” are unlikely to go well down the throat of eye watchers and human rights groups in Jammu & Kashmir and rest of the country. If BJP’s top central leaders including Prime Minister Narendra Modi really mean what they say about the protection of girl child, better for them to announce the saffron party’s disassociation with the “Hindu Ekta Manch” and ask its MLAs and ministers not to be part of the campaign for Hindu Ekta Manch’s launched for supporting the detainees facing allegations of raping and murdering Kathua minor girl.
