Hakeem aghast over Puhnoo Shopian killings

Jammu: Chairman PDF and MLA Khansahib, Hakeem Mohammad Yaseen has strongly condemned killing of 5 civilians in security forces firing in Puhnoo Shopian of south kashmir and has demanded a high level judicial inquiry into this unfortunate incident.He said SOPs as per Unified Headquarter Command guidelines are not being followed at ground level which results in the killing of innocent people with impunity.He said that killing spree let loose in varipous areas of the valley has created an atmosphere of terror and uncertainity as every body feels himself insecure .He said due to fear pscychosis the intending tourists are also reluctant to come to valley. He said if killing spree in kashmir was not stopped forthwith, the upcoming tourism season will get adversly effectected ,thereby retarding economic condition of the people.
Hakeem Yaseen has blamed Chief Minister, who heads the unified command of security forces, of total failure to rein in black sheep among the armed forces operating in the state.”Had guilty personnel involved in earlier incidents of civilian killings been punished as per law, the situation would not been worsoned so much,” Hakeem said adding that in action on the part of Govt.against blacksheep in armed forces involved in civilian killings have emboldened them as every time they go scot-free.He said that the failure of the present govt.eslecially on security front has made the life of common men as a hell.” Common Kashmiri’s have been caught between devil and the deep sea, with no hope for their rescue.
