Hajin: After the killing of a militant shut down hit normal life for the fourth consecutive day on Friday in several areas of North Kashmir’s Bandipora district.
Shops and commercial establishments were shut and movement of vehicular traffic was crippled in Hajan and adjoining areas of Bandipora district.
Thursday this week one LeT militant was killed in an encounter with the government forces in the area and after the killing of the militant clashes had erupted at several places in the area. Heavy contingents of police and paramilitaries were deployed to maintain law and order. Situation elsewhere in the Bandipora district was normal.
