Poonch: At least two army soldiers have suffered injuries after Pakistan reportedly resorted to indiscriminate firing and shelling targeting Indian posts in Manjkoot and Mehandhar Sectors of Poonch district in Jammu and Kashmir.
An army official said that Pakistan violated ceasefire and attacked Indian posts resulting in the injuries of two army soldiers.
He said both the injured have been shifted to Udhampur based army hospital.
“In response to Pakistan shelling, we also retaliated effectively,” said the official.
