Jammu/March,1: Indian and Pakistani troops Thursday morning exchanged heavy shelling along Line of Control (LoC) in Poonch district of Jammu province.
An eye witness said that the shelling between the two armies started at 8:50 in the morning in Balakot, Mendhar and Mankot area of the district and is still continue.
Reports said that all the shops and other business establishments were closed in the area.
Meanwhile, authorities have closed all the schools in these border areas and have sounded high alert.
