Bandipora: A checking squad of Assistant Regional Transport Office (ARTO) Bandipora headed by Inspector Mohammad Yasin Khan Monday conducted a drive to ensure that motorcyclists use crash helmet across the district.
During the drive, as many as 150 motorcyclists were counselled on the spot regarding the use of crash helmets and 15 of them were challaned for violating various provisions of Motor Vehicle Act. The team also challaned six erring tractor drivers for traffic violations.
