Islamabad: Former Pakistani cricketer Shahid Afridi on Monday opined cricket could be used a tool to improve bilateral relations between India and Pakistan.
The flamboyant cricketer said sports should be kept away from politics and should rather be used a tool to improve relations between the two countries, reported Geo News.
“I believe politics should be kept away from sports. It should rather be used as a tool to improve relations between the countries. Sport is something which can play a big role in bringing peace,” report quoted Afridi as having said.
