Srinagar: As Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti too to micro blogging social networking site twitter to announce the inauguration of passport seva kendras in post offices located in Anantnag, Kathua and Baramulla, the superintendent of Baramulla head post office said they don’t have any such facility.
“We have already less accommodation as such can’t provide space for the passport Seva kendra. We have already suggested them space at Bandipora post office,” said Superintendent of post office Baramulla, Vijay Chowdary. Earlier, Mehbooba had in a tweet said: “To ensure passport services for the masses, Post Office Passport Seva Kendras are being established in HPOs in the country. This will facilitate passport services on a larger scale & wider coverage. After Anantnag, Kathua & Baramulla, inaugurated a Kendra for Srinagar today”.
