BJP’s Manhas inaugurates cultural prog at GHSS Paloura Jmu

Jammu: A cultural programme was organized by Govt. Hr. Sec. School, Paloura management & staff members in the school premises where Member Parliament Rajya Sabha Shamsher Singh Manhas was the Chief Guest on the occasssion. Dignitaries from different walks of life and officials, common public participated in the fest.

Manhas said, it is the main responsibility of the ruling govt. to provide better and improved infrastructure like computer labs, libraries etc. to improve the quality of education. He also said that it is observed by him that the Centre Govt. allocated more than Rs 500 cr specially for Jammu province to provide better infrastructure under various schemes like SSA & RMSA but most of the funds gets lapse due to the negligence of the department.

In spite of all that, Manhas handed over newly constructed building to the students over which he released Rs. 12.39 Lac approximately from his MPLAD fund for the creation of the building which was totally utilized. He conclude his speech with the promise made by him that he and his govt. is keen to mitigate every problem faced by the public.

Besides this, Principal GHSS Paloura Balbir Kumar thanked & highlighted the commendable work done by Hon’ble MP in construction of the new building for budding students. Sarpanch Paloura Balbir Singh also praised the Hon’ble MP for providing funds from his fund among the school.

Stundents of Seven schools were also honoured by the Chief Guest and other dignitaries who participated this year in National School Games(SGFI) and trophies were also distributed for academic excellence among the students.

Others were X.en Municipality Ghulam Rasool, AEE JP Saraf, AE Vinay Arora, Ex-Principal Harbans Choudhary, BJP Kissan Morcha State Gen. Secy. Sunil Dutt (Raka), Capt. retd Sadhu Singh, SSP retd. Sham Sunder, Tehsildar retd. Rattan Singh, BJP Leader Bishan Sharma, Parshotam Singh, Tilak Sharma & others were also present on the occassion.
