Bandipora: The Jammu and Kashmir Bank Monday organised a day-long workshop on ‘Digital Banking System’ at Bandipora.
The workshop was attended by Drawing and Disbursing Officers (DDOs) of various departments.
The Chief Planning Officer, Abdul Majeed presided over the workshop while as bank officers and other coordinated staff were present on the occasion.
The main objective of the workshop was to provide awareness regarding the policy of shifting of manual banking to digital/e-banking.
On the occasion, the experts from bank gave detailed awareness to the DDOs on the subject.
It was revealed that introducing e-banking system is a government policy to bring transparency in the Public Fund Distribution System which is being monitored on the Central as well as State Government level.
