Srinagar: Hurriyat Conference (G) chairman Syed Ali Shah Geelani on Saturday visited ailing Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Front (JKLF) chairman Yasin Malik at SKIMS Soura.
Malik was admitted at the facility earlier this week after he complained of urine retention.
“Geelani sahab who had to undergo a routine medical check-up was allowed to visit the hospital where he visited Malik and inquired about his condition,” said a spokesman.
He said a police party escorted Geelani to the hospital. “He was later brought back to his residence where he continues to be under detention,” said the spokesman.
Yesterday, Hurriyat (M) chairman Mirwaiz Umar Farooq had visited Malik at the hospital.
